Troddenvale produces transparency-driven cider of origin with limited to no alterations. We believe complex cider with aromatics and body can be achieved by showcasing the land and fruit from Virginia, our home.

The name Troddenvale is inspired by the long history of visitors traveling through the Warm Springs Valley in search of its springs. Through our cider, we seek to preserve this valley’s treasured history—its spring water, forgotten orchards, and the stories of the land, soil, and people who live here.

Our approach focuses on allowing the fruit to speak for itself. Working with true cider varietals and relying on native microbial populations provides genuine complexity and individual character. Fermenting in neutral oak creates depth and continuity, and bottling unfiltered preserves texture so that the cider remains transparent, alive, and evolving.
