Join us on Friday, November 20 for an evening of guided exploration of wines with Corry Craighill. Based in Greenwood, Virginia, Corry is the winemaker at Septenary Winery and the founder of Wound Tight, her small-batch experimental wine project. She has honed her craft through winemaking experiences across Virginia, California, Oregon, France, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Her curious, experimental approach has earned recognition on the Virginia wine scene, including the 2026 Governor’s Cup for Valley Road Vineyards’ Cabernet Franc Reserve. Through Wound Tight, Corry explores low-intervention winemaking, different grape varieties, and fermentation techniques, creating expressive wines that invite curiosity and showcase Virginia fruit.
The tasting will be led by winemaker Corry Craighill and hosted in the hayloft of Oakley Farm's historic North Stable. The event begins promptly at 5:30 PM. Advance tickets include a curated tasting of five wines with light bites, followed by an opportunity to purchase bottles and/or dinner. We ask that guests arrive 15 minutes early so that the tasting may begin on time.
*Please Note: This event is limited to 20 guests and advance reservations are required. All participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
